Has anyone actually purchased rack for this build. I cannot find mod 1 rack in the size specified in the BOM (15 x 17mm). Most is only 10 X 10MM. Would Mod 1.5 be an acceptable substitute?

I noticed the BOM says the ball screw is 280mm, is that also the length of the Z guide rails?

Hi, I'm planning a Creative Rack & Pinion build (I'm in US so sourcing parts locally) and I just noticed that the calculator doesn't list the Z-axis in the "Motion Parts" section. I assume the Z-axis is the same spec no matter what size the frame is, what are those lengths for HGR15 guide rails/...

Hi Janne,
I too am interested in the ball screw version as I've got the motors, linear rails, ball screws & gearboxes (10:1 reduction), controller, and some of the aluminium extrusions. I have to hang fire now to see how the side plates change.. I'm interested to see at what position you place...
