DXF Scaling

Good Day,

I’m importing the 6mm plates rack 2026.dxf file into Fusion 360 and Aspire. Aspire opens the file at approximately 987.441 mm × 415.511 mm, while Fusion initially brought it in at a different scale.

After scaling the Fusion import down by 0.10, Fusion now measures the overall width at approximately 987.473 mm, which seems to match Aspire very closely. I just want to confirm the exact intended scale before creating individual STEP files for ordering the plates online.

Could you please confirm one known reference dimension in millimeters? For example:

  • the distance between the two lines shown in my attached image,
  • overall width of a specific plate
  • the diameter of one of the holes,
  • or any other feature/dimension you recommend using as a reference.

I also attached an image showing the current measurement in Fusion after scaling.

P.S. I have limited experience with Aspire, so I wasn’t able to reliably measure the individual objects there.

Thank you!

I also pulled the dxf into fusion.  I did not do any scaling, but measuring the hole spacing on the bracket that attaches to the end of the 2x80mm extrusion gives the correct 60mm for those holes.  see attached

Thank you for sharing. I ended up restarting my Fusion on my end and after reopening the file no rescaling was needed. Thanks again for the confirmation.
