Yes, we have tested that type of Mach3 USB controller.

We were also hoping it would be a good simple solution, but unfortunately it did not work well enough for us. The machine movement became more jerky, and in our testing it was basically only possible to move one axis at a time smoothly.

Because of that, we decided not to use that controller for this build. It may work for some simple machines or lighter setups, but for the Raw Creative we felt it was too rough and inconsistent.

So my honest answer is: we tried it, but we were not happy with the result.
